NRNA-ICC Election of Executives

The NRNA Election Committee invites nominations from its members for the posts up for election as defined in the attached Code of Conduct.

The election of the above mentioned positions will be conducted by following NRNA International Coordination Council Constitution. Concurrently with this Call for Nominations a Code of Conduct is being issued, codifying the guidelines for the elections and it should be referred to for further clarifications.

Nomination procedures: While submitting a nomination, the following procedures must be followed:

1. An individual is eligible to compete for only one position.
2. Nominees, nominators and supporters must be individuals who are voting delegates of NRNA and are present in person. Nominators and supporters (two each required) may not nominate or support more than one candidate.
3. Nominations must be in the form provided by the Election Committee, which may be downloaded from the NRNA website.
4. The original receipt of payment of the filing fee must be submitted with the nomination form.
5. A statement must be provided by the nominators that, to their best knowledge, the nominee is eligible for the position according to the NRNA Constitution.
6. Nominations must be submitted no later than October 12, 2011 by 8PM.
7. Nomination must be submitted to the Election Committee Office established by the NRNA Secretariat
8. Only nominations submitted as defined above will be considered by the Election Committee. Questions or comments about the nomination process and election may not be replied to.
9. Keeping with past practice, all participants are encouraged to keep endorsements on an individual basis and NCCs are urged not to make institutional endorsements. .
